This Thursday, October 3rd, Mayor Abdou Kanfon Borno of the Ndu Council oversaw a significant distribution of resources aimed at bolstering the quality of basic education within the Ndu subdivision. The event centered on the delivery of didactic materials comprising the annual minimum package for Basic Education to schools across the subdivision. These essential teaching aids are designed to equip teachers with the tools necessary to effectively prepare and deliver engaging lessons, ultimately enhancing the learning experience for students. This initiative underscores the Ndu Council’s unwavering commitment to improving educational standards and providing students with the best possible learning environment.
Beyond the crucial distribution of didactic materials, the Mayor also presided over a key handover ceremony for three newly constructed schools. The keys to GNS Kakar, GS Njimnkang, and GS Njirong were formally presented to their respective head teachers, marking a momentous occasion for these communities. These new schools represent a substantial investment in the future of education within the Ndu subdivision, providing much-needed infrastructure to support the growing educational needs of the region. The construction of these schools is a testament to the council’s dedication to providing quality educational facilities for all students.
In his address at the ceremony, Mayor Borno highlighted the significant number of schools constructed during his tenure, underscoring his administration’s long-standing commitment to educational development. He reiterated his pledge to continue investing in educational infrastructure, extending his promise to those schools yet to benefit from similar construction projects.
