The relief here is characterized by an undulating landscape pattern with highlands and valleys as
well as plains. Altitudes range from 700m asl in the Mbaw plain to about 2200m asl at Mbiyeh
(Talla) in the mountainous zone. A great deal of the high altitude here lies on the highland
mountain chain of the North West and West regions of Cameroon.
